It was a relatively low-key conference focused on Jupyter. Starting with tutorials and workshops, and ending with two days of talks in four tracks.
A discussion on the sweeping changes in medicine and how we navigate them successfully as patients, physicians, and administrators. There is a developing data science, machine learning, and deep learning community in the South Florida area. The topics were diverse, from business intelligence to online ad buying to health tech. I was invited by Data Science Salon to attend and I was really pleased to do so.
Is a great deep learning course for those who prefer to learn by doing. Unlike other courses, here you will build a deep neural network that achieves good results in an image recognition problem in an hour. You start from working code and then dig deeper into the theory and the ways to improve your algorithm. Authors of the course are Jeremy Howard. So far, I went through the first three lessons.
